No new post today, but some interesting articles that I’ve been meaning to put out there:
- High-frequency trading is fascinating to me. This article primarily discusses HFT’s potential impact on the power grid, but I’m more interested in what this has to say about the future of the stock market and what regulation might been needed down the road.
- Syria is going to be the foreign policy story of 2012. This video is just a preview. Syria is times bigger than Libya and sits in an even more important geographic crossroads, bordering Iraq, Turkey and Israel.
- The article itself is not that interesting, but the Ohio-boy in me wants to know why Time magazine has decided to center their EMP attack on Columbus. I suspect Wolverine involvement…..
