  • Social media has been extensively monetized – cases like this highlight some of the interesting issues raised by that development. A employee of a tech company started a Twitter account while employed there – he used it both personally and professionally and garnered 17,000 followers. After leaving the company, he kept the account and is being sued for control of the account.
  • I honestly can’t tell if this guy is really stupid or just trolling.   He argues that 2011 wasn’t eventful – explaining away OBL’s death, the Arab Spring and all the other major events of the year (excepting the Tsunami in Japan – I guess a major disaster in one of the world’s biggest economies doesn’t count).
  • Interesting article about a 4th Amendment lawsuit – involving use of police dogs around  a home.
